01 Charged on success only
A run that fails — for any reason on our side or the skill's side — does not debit your wallet. Validation errors are caught before any hold is placed. If you ever see a debit for a failed run in your usage ledger, report it and we will correct the charge after confirming the failed debit.
02 Disputing a charged run
If a run succeeded technically but the output is broken — empty, truncated, or plainly not what the listing promises — dispute it:
- Open the run's receipt (in the run panel after a run, or from the usage ledger) and use Dispute this run, or email support@sealed.run with the run id (e.g.
run_8f3k2a). - Tell us what you expected vs. what you got. We see metadata — skill, time, amount — and we'll ask you for the output if we need it; we don't retain your inputs (they're destroyed with the VM).
- We respond within 2 business days. Honest disputes of small per-call amounts are usually just refunded to your wallet.
Disputes about a skill's quality also feed its listing review — a skill that accumulates upheld disputes gets pulled.
Refunds, wallet credits, reruns, listing review, or removal are the normal remedies for a bad skill experience. Except where applicable law requires otherwise, Sealed does not pay for indirect losses, downstream damage, lost data, lost profits, replacement services, or other consequential damages from your decision to apply, run, copy, paste, execute, or rely on a skill output.
03 Withdrawing unused balance
Your wallet is prepaid convenience, not a lock-in. Request return of eligible unused cash balance from the wallet page or by emailing support. We process approved returns through Stripe where available, usually back to the original payment method. Promotional credits (for example, first-run credits) are not cash and are not withdrawable — they are spendable only.
Wallet balances are closed-loop for Sealed marketplace services only. Cash balances do not earn interest, are not general-purpose payment balances, and may be subject to account, balance, or spend caps. Promotional credits may expire or be withdrawn when the grant terms say so. We handle unclaimed-property/escheatment duties, expiration limits, required notices, refunds, and withdrawals as applicable law, payment-network rules, Stripe requirements, and our terms require.
We may delay, reduce, or refuse a cash-balance return where required for fraud prevention, legal or tax obligations, active disputes or chargebacks, sanctions/export controls, payment-network rules, Stripe requirements, account abuse, or a negative balance.
04 Card disputes & chargebacks
Please talk to us before going to your card issuer — wallet-level fixes are faster for you. If you do file a chargeback, we'll respond to it through Stripe with the run metadata involved. A chargeback on a balance you've partly spent may pause the account until it's resolved.
