01 The service
Sealed is a marketplace for server-side AI skills. Buyers send inputs to a hosted run, publishers provide sealed skills, and Sealed operates the account, wallet, catalog, containment, and metering systems. Creating an account means you agree to these terms and the policies linked here.
Buyer top-ups are processed through Stripe Checkout for Sealed marketplace services. Sealed administers the wallet, run metering, account access, refund/dispute workflow, containment claims, and catalog enforcement. Publishers remain responsible for the legality, rights, accuracy, safety, and listing promises of the skills they submit, subject to Sealed review, takedown, payout-hold, and dispute rights.
02 Wallets, charges & refunds
Prepaid wallets; per-run debits charged only on success; the daily spend guard; return of eligible unused cash balance; promotional credits are spend-only. Cross-reference: Refund & dispute policy.
Your wallet is a closed-loop Sealed account balance for Sealed marketplace services only. It is not a bank account, deposit account, stored-value account for general payments, or off-platform transfer instrument; it does not earn interest; balance and spend caps may apply. Promotional credits may expire or be withdrawn as disclosed when granted. We handle unclaimed-property/escheatment duties, expiration limits, required notices, refunds, and withdrawals as applicable law, payment-network rules, Stripe requirements, and this policy require.
03 Buyer terms
Acceptable use of runs and outputs; output ownership; no attempt to extract a skill's sealed body; rate limits and abuse brakes; no use that violates the Prohibited Skill Policy.
Skills are AI-assisted software services. They may be wrong, incomplete, low quality, unsuitable for your specific purpose, or unsafe if you apply outputs without review. You are responsible for reading the listing, granting only the access you intend to grant, keeping backups, reviewing outputs before relying on them, and deciding whether a skill result is appropriate for your files, systems, data, business, or users.
For browser skills, your remedy for a bad charged run is the refund and dispute process below. For Mode B or any local-hands workflow, you must review the declared tool calls, command scope, and file scope before approving execution on your machine. Sealed screens and reviews skills, but does not guarantee that every skill will be useful, correct, harmless, compatible with your computer, or free from defects.
04 Publisher terms
Publisher participation includes the 80/20 revenue split, model-aware price floors, Stripe Connect seller payouts, listing standards and takedown rights, required seller attestation, prohibited-skill screening, the no-train commitment, sanctions/export compliance, export and shutdown commitments, non-disintermediation obligations, and the buyer-dispute process.
Seller earnings accrue in the Sealed ledger after successful settled calls and may be re-spent on Sealed or cashed out only through Stripe Connect. Launch cash-outs use Stripe-hosted onboarding for Standard-style connected accounts with the transfers capability requested; Stripe collects seller identity, tax, and bank details. Sealed may apply payout holds before cash-out for security, fraud, legal, tax, sanctions/export, payment-network, Stripe, dispute, negative-balance, or incident-response reasons. Payout timing, availability, fees, tax reporting, connected-account obligations, and transfer eligibility remain subject to Stripe, applicable law, these terms, and any published Sealed limits.
05 Containment & service levels
What the containment commitments do and don't promise, by reference to the verification report and its scope note. No guarantee of uninterrupted service.
06 Liability & indemnity
As-is service. Sealed, the marketplace, skills, runs, outputs, samples, local-hands workflows, and related documentation are provided "as is" and "as available" to the maximum extent permitted by law. We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, uninterrupted operation, error-free operation, and any guarantee that a skill will not affect your files, systems, data, device, network, business, or workflow.
Limited remedy for bad runs. If a charged run is broken, empty, plainly inconsistent with the listing, or otherwise eligible under the refund policy, your primary remedy is a wallet credit, refund, rerun, listing review, or similar marketplace correction. A refund or credit does not create responsibility for indirect losses or downstream damage.
No consequential damages. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sealed and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; lost profits, revenue, goodwill, data, files, business opportunities, or business interruption; replacement services; security-response costs; or damage arising from your decision to apply, run, copy, paste, execute, or rely on a skill output.
Liability cap. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sealed's total aggregate liability for claims arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the Sealed platform fees you paid for the affected runs in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim, excluding amounts passed through to publishers, processors, taxes, or payment networks, or (b) USD $100. Nothing in these terms limits rights or liabilities that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Sealed may refuse publication, suspend access, hold payouts, issue wallet-level corrections, reverse internal settlement where permitted, remove listings, or surface quality signals to protect users, publishers, payment partners, or the marketplace. When public reviews or ratings are available, users may leave honest negative feedback about a skill experience, subject to anti-abuse and authenticity rules.
07 Termination, changes, governing law
You may close your account and request return of eligible unused cash balance under the refund policy. We may update these terms with notice when the service changes. The account terms identify governing law, venue, and the dispute process for marketplace claims.
